Who We Are

U-SA Cares For Life is a Christian organization supporting SA Cares for Life in South Africa as it serves the needs of mothers and babies facing the devastating effects of poverty, abandonment, and HIV/AIDS. Our doors are open with hearts of love and unconditional acceptance of any person regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity.

Who We Serve

We strive to be the hands of Jesus as we serve the poor of South Africa. We address the needs of families with specific emphasis on women, young children, and babies.

Why We Serve

As our name states, We Care For Life. Knowing that each life is precious to our Father, our focus is finding God's purpose and plan for each life entrusted to our care.

How We Serve

SA Cares for Life began in 1996 as Riekie van der Berg sought a means to give women an alternative to abortion. God has since expanded the services of SA Cares to include a network of pregnancy care centers, nurseries, mother homes, and a child sponsorship program.

We are unified by a shared vision of our commitment to offer hope, to give purpose, to change the destiny of birthmothers, families, and children. We give glory to God who has started this ministry and who has said:

"I the Lord, am its keeper.
I water it every moment.
Lest anyone harm it,
I guard and keep it night and day"
